if you don't have one of those anti-virus programs and you happened to get the virus a) over webmail (outlook is good for something) b) before it was reported and c) from someone you had been working with on a paper and d) the attachment appeared to be their stupid paper, well, you can go here for an automated disinfectant.

i have a lot of respect for anti-virus companies that provide these tools to remove viruses regardless of whether you own their software (unlike some other companies...).

note to self: outlook only. love microsoft. love... microsoft....
